Covering Week 1: Business Owner Mindset + Theory

The mindset, the theory, and how you're feeling about what you're building. Before the call, make sure you've completed the Know Yourself Workbook. We'll be going through it together. Bring any other questions from the lessons and we'll make sure you're grounded and ready to move into the skills weeks ahead.

Covering Week 2: Bookkeeping Skills Part 1

Book Week of September 14

Recording transactions, working in QBO, and the bookkeeping fundamentals you practiced with Bob's Painting. Bring anything that felt unclear or tricky, and we'll work through it together before you move into month-end.

Covering Week 3: Bookkeeping Skills Part 2

Book Week of September 21

Reconciliations, financial statements, and closing out a full month of books. It's a lot of new ground. Bring your questions, anything you want to revisit, and we'll make sure you feel solid before moving on.

Covering Week 4: When Clients Grow

Book Week of September 28

Sales tax, payroll, holding accounts, and the more complex scenarios that come up as your clients' businesses grow. If anything felt complicated or raised questions, this is the time to dig into it.

Covering Week 5: Tech Stack + Systems

Book Week of October 5

Your tech stack, the systems you're building for your practice, and how everything fits together. Bring questions about any of the tools or workflows we covered, and we'll make sure your systems are set up to actually work for you.

Covering Week 6: Client Ready

Book Week of October 12

A full year-end and everything you worked through to get truly client ready. If anything tripped you up or you want to talk through how to handle it in a real client situation, bring it here.

Covering Week 7: Business Identity

Book Week of October 19

Your brand, your services, and your pricing. We'll talk through any decisions you're working through and make sure your business identity feels like you before we move into marketing and getting in front of clients.

Mock Discovery Call

Book Week of November 2

This week's 1:1 is a little different, it's your mock discovery call. You'll practice running a real discovery call from start to finish, just like you would with a potential client. We'll debrief together after so you can see what landed, what to tighten up, and walk away feeling ready to do it for real.
